Welcome to Club 19:14

Mission Statement

Club 19:14 is a Christian speech & debate club for homeschooled students. We support the mission of the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA), which states that formal speech and debate can provide a means for homeschooled students to learn and exercise analytical and oratorical skills, addressing life issues from a biblical world view in a manner that glorifies God.

Our club motto is Psalm 19:14 (NIV): May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. The mission of Club 19:14 is to train students in public speaking with an emphasis on having a heart for putting God first in all aspects of life. Our core values include (1) considering others before ourselves in the way we speak and act; (2) having a standard of excellence in the work that we do; and (3) being generous with grace toward others. (Philippians 2:3-7; Colossians 3:12-14; Phil. 4:8; Col. 3:23-24; Col. 4:6).
